Planning and Developing Your Project

Start with a Plan

Every project large or small requires a planning period to establish the scope and requirements. This plan provides the outline for what is needed. We have experience with simple to very complex projects and our planning process unfolds accordingly.

1. Initial Discussion - we meet with you to establish a broad outline of your project and what what be involved with its development. For example, will this be a new system or a revision of an existing system?

2. Feature Planning - together we determine the salient or primary components of your project. Upon completing this first stage, we can establish a preliminary estimate and timeline.

3. Weekly Iteration Meetings - to insure that the best possible communications are maintained, we schedule weekly 1 hour meetings with you to discuss what we have done. One you approve, we discuss what to do next. These meetings are normally conducted by phone using a web meeting tool so we can both see what is being discussed.

4. Scheduled Milestones - many projects have key arrival points that define stages of completion. These are the "Releases" milestones that we want to share with a larger number of your people. As you can imagine, the final Release is usually time of celebration.
